Indonesia dam burst kills dozens

This is something that I’m quite worried could happen in Msia. Not I’m looking down at us but, our homeland boys’ maintenance records are always famous of third world class with first world facilities. Some of our early dams were also built during the zaman penjajahan and how did they actually maintain it really still a question mark. To me, Msia and Indonesia have almost the same with type of people and attitude. Hopefully our water boys doing their job and not just eat and sleep.

Not all foreigners can cope with the local study culture, even I’m also struggling.

2/3/2008 and 2/3/2009

2nd of March 2008,
I woke up at 7.20am, drove to work.
Had lunch at the building behind office.
Drove myself transport to construction site.
Left the office at 6.30pm and think of where dinner should take place.
Had dinner with friends at some cozy restaurant.
Went home later, surf net and watch TV.
Rest at 12am.

2nd of March 2009,
I woke up at 7.00am, walk to the MRT station and catch a train to work.
Had lunch at the building across the road.
Took MRT and taxi to construction site.
Left the office at 6.00pm and think of what should eat along the way to uni.
Had dinner in the lecture hall.
Went home by MRT + bus after lectures, surf net and wanted to rest immediately.
Rest at 11.30pm.


Look, life can be so much different in a year’s time. Life can be from easy to busy.


What I am trying to describe is, you will never know what will happen in future, not even tomorrow. You will be ended up differently from what you wanted for.

Short Notes

I have finally received my new lappie at work. Changing from a Pentium 4 M to core 2 duo is so much difference, specially the huge jump of memory from 256mb to 2gb. I have to wait nearly 2 month to get this and was suffering with that old piece of junk from store room.

When the lady sitting next to me starts to talk to herself, I’ll start to worry. Worried she will poke a knife on me when she can’t cope with the working pressure.

No More Games For Me

Apparently my video card has failed on me, I couldn’t load FM anymore.

In fact that is the hardest part of upgrading. I have changed to new mobo and transferred the old video card to here before, as I love my 5 years old radeon 9800 XT too much, unwilling to let it go. It performed well and still partially in service. Why is this the hardest part? This 9800 old tech stuff is running on AGP slot and it has been phased out for quite sometime already. So, the following options that are available to me:-

1. Get another AGP video card, but not much choices available on the shelf.
2. Get a new mobo with PCI Express slot.

Second option is like getting whole new system since the ram is not supporting too.

This is why I hate to play computer games. The upgrading of computer performance is increasing vastly and costly too. Might as well get a PS2 or 3 which can last for at least 5 years.

Now even surfing the net can be very slow sometimes and even freeze the whole system.
