3. Opens internet browser
4. Turn off xunlei again, too lag, cannot surf internet
5. Check yahoo mail
6. Read Malaysiakini
7. Read the Malaysian Insider
8. Browse 38 numbers of blogs
9. Check out Facebook
10.Continue with Friendster
11. Close everything.
12. Starts xunlei again
13. Go watch TV

Recently got offered a job in Dubai.

The salary wise was just medium low of my expectation.

I can’t bear the risk of relocation to somewhere too unfamiliar without much reimbursement.

Definitely this would be a good stepping stone to another new level in my career.

The heat, the culture, the environment, unfamiliar field of work, cost of living, is my biggest holdback to the city of gold.

Rounding Mechanism

The Malaysian Government wishes to announce the introduction of a Rounding Mechanism to the nearest multiple of 5 sen for over-the-counter payments to be fully implemented by 1 April 2008.

Today, the 19th of March 2008, my bill got rounded up already.

Are they supposed to do that before 1st of April?

Are we supposed to be notified earlier?

Where’s the consumer rights to protect us?

Election Day!

Reached the polling centre around 9am.

It was so early and the whole place was empty.

Queued up behind 5 people, and walked slowly to the box by the instruction of committee.

Seems like no one to teach newbie about the voting.

Can only learn from watching those people in front.

Handed over my IC, and got my name spoken out loudly.

I was then given 2 papers, 1 orange, 1 red.

It took less than a minute for me to put the cross on both papers, because I have decided who to vote way before the election was announced.

My votes for state and parliament seats are the same.

I know my single vote doesn’t sound huge, but that’s another tiny unhappy voice from me towards the current unfair situation.

2/3 majority is definitely not a good thing for the public who are already suffering.

I don’t expect them to win big, but at least they have the power to monitor and protect our rights.
