It’s Final Tonight!

.
Beers chilled. Snacks readied. What else?

I’m on Germans side tonight!

Today’s market: Spain giving 0 & 0.5 on Asian handicap.

Under 2.5 looks tasty but the odds are bullying punters.

Sorry boss, I’m gonna fish huge giant shark in da office tomorrow. Don’t worry, this only happens twice in a year, Champions League and Euro or World Cup.

Am I Fussy?

.
It’s not that I wanted to be fussy all the time. But. But. Haih….

They don’t even bother to inform me earlier if they can’t make it, until I need to ask them myself.

On the first time you told me that you can’t make it after 2pm.

And I booked you on the morning slot.

So I purposely cancel all my activities in that morning just for you since you come back to KL for every two weeks only and since I’m leaving very soon.

When I ask you again few days later, you told me only after 3pm is free.

Its some more have to wait until I took the initiative to confirm with you AGAIN.

Its so wasting time and energy.

Its not only you that have thousands of friends to meet in the weekend.

I mean, come on! Please be considerate, THINK for your friends. They are not your servants.

Haih…..

I have cancelled my company’s farewell lunch because of that, and just because I put friends at higher priority.

In return, what do I get?

A stomach full of DULAN-ness!!!

Freeze! Cash Only!

.
I really don’t like to read newspaper nowadays, because everyday I’ll get at least one stupid announcement or decision by the government or whatsoever bodies.

They have the same motive.

They just want our hard earned cash!

How can a salesman fork out so many cash just for the whole month of petrol as the employer only pays you back at the end of month?

Profit too low? Your head la, I always saw someone standing outside the petrol station waving the flag as if that will attract more customers. Save money for hiring them then you can have better profit margin la.

Profit margin too low? Your head la, always push the air conditioner to the max even in the middle of the night. How to make profit like that?

Reduce your overhead! Adjust your life style! Just like how government told us.

Next time those theft / mat rempit / robber no need to search around for preys. They just need to sit inside the petrol station and wait for customers to buy petrol. Guarantee will work! Cause all sure bring cash!

Don’t fill up at night, or else you might end up being a victim.

Yet Another AP (Approved Pang)

.
New AP holder in town selling hybrid cars. Good? Don’t think so.

Selling Alphard, Estima, Harrier hybrid only.

Does that going to benefit the lower income group in the recent petrol price hike? I doubt it.

Those people that are able to buy an alphard, or estima or harrier surely can afford RM2.70 per litre, so I smelled some bull’s crap dropping everywhere.

Wanna buy a high tech hybrid car from a paid up capital of 2 ringgit company? Think again. Company’s chairman is just 28 years old with datukship conferred two years ago. Want to know about the shareholders? It’s a 22 years old kid and also his rich dad.

See it yourself.

Premier Hybrid Cars Sdn Bhd gets new Open APs

UMNO-led Government Gave APs for Hybrid Cars to UMNO Putera Exco Member

.

You voted for it and accept it, except Selangor, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Kedah.

Yeah, save more money on petrol and keep inside their bank account.

Conclusion: Rich people become ever richer, poor people just become ever poorer.

Haih……
.

Tips on buying petrol

.
This is an email received from a friend:-

I don't know what you guys are paying for petrol... but here in Durban, we are also paying higher, up to 47.35 per litre. But my line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every litre.

Here at the Marian Hill Pipeline, where I work in Durban, we deliver about 4 million litres in a 24-hour period thru the pipeline.

One day is diesel; the next day is jet fuel, and petrol, LRP and Unleaded. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 litres.

The first tip from me is:-

Only fill up your car in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the denser the fuel, when it gets warmer petrol expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening, you will get less than 1 litre with 1 litre price.

In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the petrol, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products play an important role. A 1 degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

When you are filling up, do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to the maximum rate. If you look carefully, you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle and high. In slow mode, you should be pumping on low speed, hereby minimizing the vapors that created while you are pumping. All hoses at the pumps have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapor are being sucked up and return into the underground storage tank so you‘re getting less worth for your money.

One of the most important tips is to fill up when your tank is half full. The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in the tank, the less air occupying the empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine. Petroleum storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the petrol and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service station, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated, so that every litre is actually the exact amount.

Another reminder, if there is a fuel truck refilling the petrol station, do not fill up at the same time. Most likely the petrol is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some dirt that normally settles at the bottom.

Hope this will help you get the maximum value for your money

The Letter to AGK

.
The ever remembered staircase.
.
To: AGK

It’s been around 10 months since I left you. How have you been actually? Getting better or worst? Me myself are actually doing great, hope you do the same too.

Today, 20th of June 2008, is a very special day for you. I’m proud to see you have achieved another milestone.

You made it from SS2 to Kepong and now to Subang. You fought your way through the 1997 economy recession and survived on only five on-going projects during the hardest moment.

Surprised to be informed that you have officially closed down the Kepong office today and moving forward with a new life over subang as I was told to be 26th of June. The first thing came into my mind was waves of sadness and bitterness, as the Kepong office do really holds up heaps of sweet and sour memories with so many people with me.

Really wanted to thank you for introducing the construction process in Malaysia and also duty of the M&E Engineer to me. In fact this was my first technical job. I have been nourished from a fresh graduate to a M&E Engineer.

Glad to have so many energetic young engineers to guide me during my baby stage in the M&E field. Without Cheong, Lee, Galvin, Jerry, I wouldn’t able to walk like a kid this field. Without the frequent firing from Yeoh, I will never have better autocad skills that are now able to teach my designers. Yes, I have never grown from a green house, yet I still thank them sincerely for doing such to me.

Oh yeah, do you still remember the days we need to tidy up the office in order to receive the new Chinese year? That was really fun. I could still remember we had pizza and washed down with nasty hampers’ wine for lunch and went home in the noon on Day 30th? Besides that, we gamble blackjack all the time during Chinese new year season, that was so fun.

You can’t forget the heavy storm water that used to leak into the office everything when the rain gets heavier, can you? And also never forget to save your work more frequent as the tripping was very usual during thunder storms. When you talked about tripping, I could still remember we need to make recycle papers whenever power is out.

Fee: The money is coming in!

Cheong: Guess what, I saved your life again!

.
Haha, do you still remember how often we had lunch, dinner, supper, drinks, karaoke, beers, liquors in those days? Man I couldn’t recap how many time we made to Little Bali, Red Box, Neway, plenty of one-time-going pubs. Hey! At least I can remember we were invited to the launching on My KTV in Mid Valley and managed to catch May Day in action as they were here for the same purpose too.

.

YY: "You are not going to have my pictures for commercial use!"
.

How about Bak ku teh? I bet you wouldn’t want to have bak ku teh lunch in every two days, in reality we do more than that last time! Ahhhh!!! I couldn’t have even once a month now! Damn.

Thanks to the strategic location in Kepong, you managed to hire some beautiful ladies like Judy, Esther, Sanly, and Shamila to assist us on some administration works. Life wasn’t too dull with their presence in da office. And glad to see all of them have a better life to move on after that.
.

Without your boss’s idea on hiring fresh meat trainee, I couldn’t have the chance to meet Ah Fee, Ooi, and Stephen. It’s fun and tiring to teach them from zero and glad to see them left AGK with plenty knowledge of construction process. I do hope they make an impact on the society and serve the economy well.

.

Scary feminine side of Ooi

.
How can you and me forget the helpful Kun and ever-serious Wan to work with, you will never felt alone and they were ready to lend a hand when you need to. Definitely Yeoh’s skills in CAD is worth mentioning, but he needs to wake up asap and get a better job. Never stay too long in the comfort zone, time will never wait for you.

.

YY: You are supposed to draw from here to there, not from there to here.

.
The saddest and regretted part of me in AGK history is I was never have enough time to know or to make closer friends with Chris, Shawn, Lim, Eva, Jackson, Stephen as I was about to leave when they joined the army of AGK. I was kind of busy with the decision of my future during my last three months and neglected them.

.

I'm not so being accepted by the new engineers, I told you so....

.
Lastly, I truly wish you all the best and hope everything goes better. Although I have chosen to walk in the different path, but I still hope we both can achieve our own goals earlier than we expected.

When people asked where were you trained from? And I’m proud to say I’m from AGK. Yes, I’m PROUD of you.
.

One Car Number Plate…

.
I’ve got an ex-colleague who drives an Advanza.

He’s the type of people that doesn’t care much about his life.

When the car salesman ask him about the car number plate’s selection, he said “anything”

And what he got later was “Wxx 9453

I was like WTF!!! You allowed your salesman to tender 9453 for you?!!?

This is the worst-est and bad-est number you can ever get.

九死无生

This kind of salesman shall send to hell and never come back!
.

Resigned

.
I have finally handed over my resignation letter this morning.

Shall serve one month notice immediately and leaving the office at 17th July 2008.

I’m leaving my comfort zone and venturing into some unknown places.

Is this a wise move?

You never try and never going to know.

This is My Playground

.
What the hell is going on over here???

So many changes in one month time??

Is this a government or some kind of playground for him?

Somebody please stop him announcing some stupid ideas before thinking twice.

Civil servants to be paid in every two weeks??

It’s going to waste some more manpower and papers.

Furthermore, the salary STILL maintained the same as before the price hike! What’s the point?

10% off from ministers’ allowance?

What kind of sick joke is this? Add 40% to millions of people, and take away 10% from few hundreds? 10% cut in ministers’ allowance can save 2 billion??? Since when the whole country failed mathematics and how come just 10% of their entertainment already cost us about 2 billions?

Why am I driving a heavily taxed car and pay almost-catching-up-with-world-market price fuel?

Where are all the huge excise duty of cars gone to? Aren’t they supposed to subsidy the fuel just like older days?

In other countries like Thailand and US are having unsubsidised car and unsubsidised fuel!

In Malaysia, we are having heavily taxed car and unsubsidised fuel! Furthermore no complete public transport network available!

Someone please help me!!!

Should we thank god that we have some useless stuff like Twin Towers, F1 circuit, grand Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Port Klang Free Zone, Eyes on Malaysia, and KLIA?

I can see a boy who spent all his money on toys and now crying for extra money in front of the parents, but the rich brother that produces oil said he will go bankruptcy if he helps him.

so the moral of the story, parents die la.

Speechless

No point flaming at bodohwi.

It’s all those who voted BN, and let them survive the election’s fault.

What’s the point protesting while the police and politicians are more brutal than you.

So next time if you get a chance to vote for a change, please don’t hold back.

This is what you get if you don’t.

Sometimes I do think those people work in Putrajaya are too relaxed and drifted away from the real situation. They don’t realize how bad the society is, and simply listen to the 4th floor guys.

What’s on for next month? Electricity bill, yeah.

August? World market rate petrol for a net exporter country, yeah

September? EVERYTHING, Who knows?

Thank you ya, for voting BN.

What If White Stone + Fuel?

Did someone realised that the fuel ban is just days after the decision of the ownership of Pulau Batu Puteh?

Is that some kind of revenge from Malaysia?
