Taman Negara 17~19/05/2008

Day 1 - 17/05/2008

My long awaited trip to Taman Negara

Yes, I’m in Jerantut.

The schedule to Kuala Tahan. In fact, we missed the 1pm bus, so we hire a van and a taxi to transfer direct to the Hotel Motel.

This is the one of the typical restaurant that you can feed yourself. Basically they provide local and western food, but never try to order something special. It might turns out ugly, No Joke.

At the entrance of Gua Telinga. It’s a one-way passage, exit at another end.

Traffic jammed inside the cave. Everyone started to shout at the group infront. They are moving like one-step-one-photo-please pace.

Due to the time wasting inside the damn cave by those idiota, we come out the cave late and sun is setting. So the day ended JUST LIKE THAT, thank you those bunch of idiota wasted our time.

Day 2 - 18/05/2008

Taken from my balcony.

The guide brought us to the canopy walkway right after the breakfast, because he noticed the whole Taman Negara is packed with tourists.

We made it to the canopy platform, and waited for like 1.5 hours to our turn. Imagine how many tourists were there. They were like queuing up for J CO Donuts.

Our guide who's supposed to take care of us.

Yip and Law, the two tall asses. Its advisable not to join them in the photo.
.
.
.
We head to Terisek Hill for some hill climbing. As usual, it’s packed with people, like window shopping in One U.

Mid of Terisek Hell Hill, soaked in sweat.

Dried ourselves on top of the hill and move on to Orang Asli Village. Tour guide asked whether we are interested to join the rapid shooting, at a discounted price of RM30.00. Rip-off Number 1. Some of us thought it would be fun, so part of the group joined. In fact, the rapid was like kici-miao stream with wave in the aquarium tank. No water splashing into the boat, no whatsoever bumpy ride, but we still got wet at the end by splashing water ourselves.

Orang asli village was still ok, if you are a city boy that hasn’t seen those orang asli light up the fire with lighter sticks and wood.

Everyone was trying the sniper.
.

.

After that, we paid a visit to Lubuk Simon which located behind the Mutiara Taman Negara.

Day 3 - 19/05/2008

Kosong.

Yes, kosong.

We spent the whole freaking day from Kuala Tahan to Jerantut to Temerloh to Pekeliling to Ampang.

The hotel Motel we spent 2 precious nights.

While we were waiting the bus that crashed the bridge to be cleared.

Lastly, our group photo.

Nice Food? Nahhh……..

.

You are charging RM 1.50 for a glass of tap water?
One Noodle in SS2 is sick!
KTZ is sick!
Since when we need to pay that much just for a cup of plain water?
Btw, their noodles are rather expensive and don’t taste good.
I can tell you my dog also don’t want it!

Untitled – 22/5/08

I’m a bit lost.
Yes.
Just accepted an offer from NTU.
Need to relocate to Singapore in less than 3 months time.
Quite busy.
Busy on so many tedious things like registration and student’s pass.
My photograph buddy has not yet emails me the photos for Taman Negara. Haih.
So sad.
I’m gonna miss my dog, current and ex-company, my home, my car, my friends, etc
Haih.
Lots of things need to be settled before July comes.

Long Awaited Answer

If you still remember the sad moments in November 2007, I ended that post with this:-

“Life goes on, and I’m going to try the next uni in my list.
I’ll never satisfied with dissatisfaction.”

Yesterday, in the middle of a boring night, I just happened to be nothing to do and click on the bookmark of the application status enquiry.

And I’m now offered a place in NTU.

Remember, Never Satisfied with Dissatisfaction

Giant Pig Projects

During the debate in parliament,
Khairy said PKR stands for Projek Khinzir Raksasa
and
Mahfuz Omar said BN is Projek Babi Negara
To be honest, I salute to Khairy’s creativity.
Projek Khinzir Raksasa

LOL

I just can’t stop laughing.

Pain Pain Pain

.
It’s been third straight weekends on futsal.

My body isn’t felt like mine, and I walked like robotcop in the office today.

The only gain that I can see from it is my improved stamina.

Talking about football or even any other team sports, my intention to score is not always as huge as some other players on the field. I always love to work in a team, to support them at the rear. That’s why you would always see me at mid to center back of the field. I always let others to chase their dreams, or to score some really nice goals, hence I don’t mind to fill up the least favored position on the field.

But some people might be getting too competitive and playing too serious and rough when there’s some body contact during the game. They would rather hit you hard and down so that you will give way to them. To me, it’s just a game, friendly some more, so there’s no need of so much intense until you are hurting someone else. To be competitive is good actually, but never over did it. No point scoring a goal in friendly game while half of the opponents were down due to your dirty play. You will never earn a single cent of respect from that piece of hard work.

I’m gonna walk like zombie tomorrow as my legs are still numb now.

Waterfall Outing at Sungai Kanching

.
Hohoho….

I guess I need to back date this entry, the trip was way too long ago.

A bunch of bored and lazy workforce in my company organized an outing once in 6 months at last!

Thanks to our great lazy mastermind, waterfall at sungai kanching was suggested.

Sungai kanching waterfall is just opposite the Commonwealth Park along the Jalan Templer.

Since my office is in Kepong, so it is not far from there. Anyhow, based on past experience, we need to announce the departure time 30 mins earlier for those who are famous of late coming.

Took this before we actually started to walk up to the first waterfall. These bugger took this without waiting for me, so I have to wave from the back far far away…… damn it!

Last glance of the lower land.

Route up to the waterfall and man made pool was OK and moderate steep.
Too bad the man made pool, which was filled with peeeeooopleeee.

But this is not our final destination yet, we are heading to another waterfall at upstream. Manmade concrete ladder is no more available from here, the hardest part of the journey.

At last the effort we took paid well. We got a private waterfall. Upstream somemore.

Muahahahha…. Everything will flow to the downstream…. Hehehe…. Eat my XXXX!!!

Smaller scale waterfall and clearer water, and it was totally belong to us (during that morning).

The water is still clean just like its name, Sg. kanching = Sg.干净.
